About This Publication

We exist because most
software reviews are broken

The AI Growth Stack is an independent publication covering AI-powered software for B2B marketing and growth teams. We test tools ourselves, publish honest findings, and earn commissions when readers buy — which means we only recommend things we'd actually use.

Why we started this

Most software review sites are pay-to-play. A tool pays to be featured, gets a glowing write-up, and the reader has no idea. The "reviews" are often written by people who've never opened the product. The comparison tables are designed to funnel you toward whoever's paying the highest commission, not whoever's actually best for your use case.

We got tired of reading those sites. So we built a different one.

Every analysis on The AI Growth Stack is grounded in structured research — synthesizing product documentation, real user data from G2 and Capterra, pricing breakdowns, and direct competitive comparisons. We cross-reference vendor claims against what people actually experience using these tools. If a product's AI features are genuinely useful, we'll say so. If they're marketing theater bolted onto something that hasn't fundamentally changed, we'll say that too.

What we cover

We focus exclusively on the intersection of AI and B2B growth software — CRM, email marketing, SEO, sales outreach, analytics, landing page tools, and AI writing platforms. We don't cover everything. We cover the tools that marketing and growth teams at B2B companies are actively evaluating.

The AI layer matters to us because it's where the real differentiation is happening right now. Two CRM platforms can have nearly identical feature sets — but if one has genuinely useful lead scoring and the other's "AI" is just a chatbot, that's a meaningful difference for the people making the buying decision. We try to surface that clearly.

Maya
Founder & Editor-in-Chief
Maya has spent the better part of a decade in B2B marketing — running demand gen programs, managing tech stacks, and evaluating more software tools than she cares to count. She started The AI Growth Stack after noticing that the sites she turned to for software research were consistently either outdated, incentivized to mislead, or written by people who'd never actually used what they were recommending. The publication is her attempt to build the resource she always wished existed.

Our editorial standards

We are affiliate-supported, which means we earn a commission when a reader clicks through and makes a purchase. We disclose this on every article. Our affiliate relationships do not influence our ratings, recommendations, or rankings — tools are evaluated on their research merits, and we regularly recommend free tiers or lower-commission products when they're genuinely the better choice.

We update articles when products meaningfully change. An analysis from six months ago that no longer reflects the current product gets flagged and refreshed. Publication dates and last-updated dates are shown on every article.

01
We test before we write
Every tool we review gets hands-on testing. We set up accounts, run actual workflows, and evaluate AI features against real use cases — not spec sheets.
02
We say when something isn't good
A publication that never publishes a negative review isn't a publication — it's a catalog. We call out overpriced tools, underwhelming AI features, and products that don't deliver on their promises.
03
We disclose everything
Affiliate links, sponsored content, free trials provided by vendors — all disclosed, every time. No exceptions. You deserve to know what's influencing what you read.
04
We keep it current
AI software is moving fast. We refresh reviews when products change significantly and mark outdated content clearly. A review from 18 months ago in this space might as well be from another era.
